About the Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics is one of the largest departments in the College of Science, King Abdulaziz University, Rabigh branch. Studying in the department began in 1429 AH (2008 AD) with the beginning of the establishment of the university branch in Rabigh. The department teaches mathematics courses for students of the preparatory year, as well as for students of all colleges in the university, such as the College of Engineering and the College of Computers and Information. It also offers more than 30 different courses in the field of mathematics for the undergraduate level. The job opportunities available to graduates of the mathematics major are many and varied in many fields, in addition to the fact that there are opportunities for scholarships abroad to obtain postgraduate degrees for outstanding students to return as faculty members in the mathematics department
